Arizona has embraced cooler temperatures already. It’s way too cool for this time of the year for us. Yesterday morning it was 38 degrees F (3 degrees C) at 7 in the morning. But the sun shines brightly during the daytime. It feels colder when in the shade, but when the sun shines on you, it’s warm and nice. Going for a walk during the day is a wonderful treat. I love how delicious the weather is right now even though it’s way too cold in the mornings and nights.

But of course, the cooler temperatures bring in cold and cough with it. Last week my little one was down with a cold, cough, and sore throat, too. He had a slight fever as well, but he was not overly tired, which was a good sign.

Over the weekend, my elder one also came down with a cold, fever, and cough. This time it was his turn to be tied to the bed. His temperature was very high and he was way too tired to even sit up straight. Thankfully, he is recovering slowly and after four days his temperature has gone down slowly, but not completely. His cough is scary and he complains about his sore throat. He is unable to eat, which makes him even more tired. I am thankful that he is slowly recovering.

My headache popped in and out a couple of times during the week. It was not a nice feeling when I woke up and remembered the existence…
