Days Once Familiar

Days once familiar, no longer here
faded elsewhere,
ridden with caution.

Faces not many appear, neither are welcomed,
shaded with woes,
hidden behind masks.

A new world, bugs roam freely,
squashed like bugs, meet your fate,
if wander in the streets, mankind afraid.

This new world, an ailing one
bearing many angsts,
to leave behind.

A new world, a healing one,
sharing the hope
of, returning to the days once familiar.

Days once familiar, remembered dearly.
Days once familiar, a longing in million hearts.
